FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The school district for a 4th grade teacher who REAL News Michiana discovered owns and operates a statewide Satanic temple, responded to RNM’s requests for comments by defending the teacher’s association with Satanism.
“We do not ask our teachers, or any employees, about their religious beliefs.” An email from Southwest Allen County Schools’ Director of Human Resources, read. “Per our School Board Policy, ‘The Board of Education of SACS believes that all persons ought to be free to follow their own religious beliefs, without government interference, according to the dictates of their own consciences and in accordance with law.’ As a public school corporation, our teachers are expected to teach the approved curriculum and they are not to impose their personal beliefs onto their students.”
According to Indiana Secretary of State records, Jessica Klikas is the owner of The Satanic Temple Indiana, also known as Porta Infernum (Latin for Gate of Hell) LLC. Klikas is currently a 4th grade teacher at Haverhill Elementary School, according to a staff directory for the Southwest Allen County Schools’ district website.
RNM has discovered several openly pro-Satan posts on Klikas' social media. Below are a couple of examples from her Twitter account, that have since been deleted. Klikas has also changed the privacy settings on her Facebook account to prevent anyone from seeing her previous public posts.
Photos of Klikas have also been scrubbed from The Satanic Temple Indiana's Instagram page. RNM took screenshots of those prior to their removal.
MICHIANA CONNECTION
Klikas and The Satanic Temple Indiana appear to have a strong relationship with a non-profit based out of Elkhart County called Northern Indiana Atheists. REAL News Michiana recently ran a story about a fundraiser the NIA held for The Satanic Temple Indiana called “Menstruatin’ with Satan.” The Satanic Temple Indiana also has the NIA featured in an article on their website.
The NIA has also promoted Satan and The Satanic Temple in other ways. This year, the NIA set up a Satanic Holiday Display in the lobby of the County-City building in Downtown South Bend.

There is no way my child would be in her class. As a parent, I have a choice who teaches my children. I don’t care what this teachers’ beliefs are, but I do care about my children’s education. Young kids are easily influenced. I chose to stay on the side of caution when it comes to my children’s education and well-being. This opens the door for other crazy wacked out religions to seek a foothold in our schools just like the ideology of Communism and Socialism that has been allowed to infiltrate our colleges and universities. There is a fight in our country today to stop Critical Race Theory or CRT that some in this current government and far left radicals want taught to our children. Our kids are being told that Communism and Socialism are wonderful government systems, and many have fallen into the trap of believing this lie. As a former soldier I have witnessed the true meaning of Communism and Socialism. In the city of West Berlin, Germany, and other tours of duty. Ms. Klikas may be a nice person but her chosen lifestyle should have no place in our school system.
Wow, this reveals as much about the school board as it does about the teacher. Would the school be so eager to defend a teacher who believes that pedafilia is ok? What if the teacher were a member of the KKK and an advocate for white supremacy? Where do they draw the line? Well, they don’t draw it a Satanism which should be concerning to any parent in the district.

I do not like Satanism, but if we are to respect freedom of religion and expect for our own personal religious beliefs to be respected and protected, then who are we to say what others can do? I would not want this individual around my child, and if my child attended this school I would certainly request my child be placed with a different teacher, but I don’t feel I have any right to say she shouldn’t be allowed to teach or have a profession because of what religion she practices.
