SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has uncovered photos from The LGBTQ Center of South Bend’s annual drag show for children showing very young kids being forced to perform what can only be described as a transgender flag ceremony. In the photo, five elementary school aged children are seen holding the flag horizontally above the ground, much like what is done with the American flag during burial ceremonies for veterans.

Other pictures show children tipping the drag queens dollar bills as if they were sitting in the front row of a strip club as well as physically dancing with the performers. Photos appear to show about half of the total audience was made up of children.

The show was held on Friday June 7th, at The Well Coffee House in the River Park neighborhood of South Bend. The Well is a popular venue for drag shows for children.

VIOLENCE OUT FRONT

While the show involving children was going on inside of the venue, outside several LGBTQ activists were violently attacking pedestrians walking down the public sidewalk in front of The Well.

As previously reported by RNM, video from in front of the venue shows an LGBTQ activist viciously beating a teenager as he attempted to call 911 to help his injured father. The video was taken just after the teen’s father was also brutally attacked by other activists in front of The Well Coffee House on Mishawaka Avenue.

In the video you can see the 18-year-old victim fighting to keep his phone in his hands as a much larger masked man puts him in a headlock and punches him in the head and face multiple times. As the victim attempts to grab his phone from the ground, the assailant attacks the 18-year-old again. Eventually, another LGBTQ activist walks up and steals the phone. According to the victim and his father, who RNM has decided not to name, the 18-year-old was able to get through to 911 dispatch, however, the activists disconnected the call when they got possession of the phone.

REAL News Michiana has not been able to identify the masked man who attacked the teenager, however, we have positively identified the two assailants who viciously beat his father.

According to the victims and witnesses, the father and son duo were walking down the public sidewalk in front of The Well when two people “pulling security” for the event initially assaulted the father. One of the activists hit him in the head with a large brass bell, causing significant head trauma, forcing the victim to spend the evening in the hospital where he received six stitches to his head and a CT scan. The two suspects who attacked the father immediately took off after the attack and have not been apprehended, however, a police report has been filed and a detective is being assigned to the case. Pictures of the father’s wounds can be seen below.

Even though the suspects ran off following the attack, witnesses were able to take pictures and video of the incident from which REAL News Michiana has been able to positively identify the assailants as Troy Moss and Tonna Robinson. Both are members of the non-profit organization called Northern Indiana Atheists (NIA) who are well known left-wing activists in the region. According to witnesses, Moss initially attacked the victim by pinning him against a wall while Robinson ran up and hit the man in the head with a large brass bell. Below is a picture of Robinson holding the improvised weapon standing next to Moss just prior to the attack.

The victim’s 18-year-old son who was also attacked did not need hospitalization.

While the drag show was being put on by the LGBTQ Center of South Bend, it was held at The Well Coffee House/Church located in the 2400 block of East Mishawaka Avenue in South Bend.

As previously stated, Moss and Robinson are both part of the NIA non-profit. According to Facebook posts, the NIA had partnered with both the LGBTQ Center and The Well to pull “security” for the event. Both Moss and Robinson were part of the “security” detail. The NIA also frequently hosts meetings at the venue. Below are several Facebook posts by the NIA describing their partnership to pull security and meetings the organization holds at the venue.

The NIA is most well-known for setting up an annual Satanic holiday display in the County-City Building in Downtown South Bend as well as hosting events such as “Menstruatin’ with Satan” — which both have garnered immense support from local elected Democrat officials.

ANTIFA GANG MEMBERS

While both Moss and Robinson are highly connected to the left-wing gang known as Antifa, Robinson appears to be the de facto leader of the group in the region.

Robinson and her self-identified group of Antifa members historically worked as what they called “Deathscorts” outside of the now closed Whole Woman’s Health abortion clinic in South Bend in which they would escort women into the facility to get abortions. One of the members was investigated by the US Capitol Police for nearly running over a congresswoman with his car in 2021. That same member was investigated by the FBI for threats against a pro-life organization.

Following the Hamas terrorist attack in Israel this past October where hundreds of women and children were murdered in their beds, Robinson joined Hamas supporters at a rally in Downtown South Bend who openly said they were happy about innocent Jews being killed.

Robinson has not been shy about her affiliation with the leftist paramilitary group. Her social media accounts claim she joined in Antifa riots, attacks Christians and the Salvation Army and consistently wishes harm on police officers.

In October of 2021, she took to Facebook to Cheer on the arson of a South Bend Police Department squad car.

In the post Robinson says “Hometown Hero” with a fire emoji next to it. Under her commentary is a release from SBPD regarding the arson. She alters the release to tell people to “shut the f*** up” if they have information regarding the crime.

What’s even more disturbing is the commentary under her post appearing to call for police to be killed.

“Damn. Nobody inside? I wanted more good cops.” A poster who goes by the name Natascha Hanson, said. This is a play on Antifa’s “only good cop is a dead cop” mantra. Robinson reacted to the post seeming to be displeased that no officer was killed in the arson.

In August of 2021, Robinson started a social media smear campaign against a veteran owned apparel store, falsely claiming the veteran sells hats with swastikas on them.

Robinson posted the following story on social medial, tagging the local store in the post. “Op1vet traveled to Sturgis, SD (sic) to peddle hate with other nazi (sic) vendors.” She wrote in the post along with a link to news story from the event that included pictures of swastika hats. Op1vet is not mentioned in the story itself.

That was at least the second time the communist Antifa activist attacked the store and its owner. The first smear campaign started around Memorial Day of 2021, when the business launched its first brick and mortar store in Goshen.

Op1vet sells items that support the military and police, like the “thin blue line” and “don’t tread on me” flag.

In the first attack, Robinson was upset that the store sells parody items of the Black Lives Matter organization.

Robinson has made a name for herself attacking businesses and conservatives for supporting any military or police cause. You can read about her efforts to remove a police support flag at Fiddlers Hearth in South Bend here. She also attacked a gift-shop in Wawasee owned by a minority immigrant for selling a shirt supporting the GOP.

LGBTQ CENTER HISTORY OF DRAG SHOWS FOR KIDS

The LGBTQ Center has a long history of offering drag shows to children. In the summer of 2022, RNM broke a story about another LGBTQ Center drag show in which a Girl Scout Troop attended. At that event, young Girl Scout members tipped the drag queens with Girl Scout Cookies.

The LGBTQ Center also frequently partners The Well Coffee House, where Friday’s attack occured, which is part of (and inside) River Park Grace Church. The Well hosted the “All Ages Drag Pride Edition” event as part of The LGBTQ Center’s “Pride” events in June of 2023. According to the portal used to purchase tickets for the event, children 5 and under got in for free. While kids 6-17 were charged half price. The same pricing strategy was used for Friday’s event.

The church held a similar Halloween themed drag show for children in October of 2022. During that event, free admission was offered to children 4-years-old and younger with children 5-17 receiving a discounted entry fee of $5. However, adults had to pay $10. Both events were put together in coordination with the South Bend LGBTQ Center.

The Halloween themed event received major backlash from the public with a large protest during the show. Ironically, members of the Satanic Temple, Northern Indiana Atheists and abortion clinic volunteers provided security for the church during the protest.

Despite hosting drag shows for children, the LGBTQ Center has garnered support from politicians such as Sheriff Bill Redman and former Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
