SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has learned the Penn Harris Madison school corporation partnered with a radical leftist group that espouses racist views and pro-abortion and trans activism. It turns out, the school district had a field trip to allow the organization give a history lesson to Penn High School students last week.
The field trip with the IUSB Civil Rights Heritage Center was to educate the children on the history of segregation in South Bend, which is a worthy lesson to be taught. However, it's unclear exactly what was pushed on the students, considering the IUSB CRHC is an extremely biased and politically motivated organization that pushes radical ideology, including anti-white hate and pro-abortion and transgender activism.
According to the PHM instagram account, a group of PHM students went on the field trip on Friday. The Instagram post then promotes the IUSB CRHC by encouraging people to visit its website and social media pages to learn more about its "purpose and goals." So, RNM did just that and found that the IUSB CRHC is essentially a hate group against conservatives, Christians and white people.
Social media posts by the IUSB CRHC include calling white people "anti-intellectual" "anti-vaxers" and "insurrectionists." Posts also bash pro-life beliefs while promoting feminism and abortion. More posts push radical gender ideology. And others slam conservatives and conservative legislation concerning parental rights in schools.
RNM Reached out to PHM Superintendent Jerry Thacker and Director of Communications Lucha Ramey. As of publication, we have not received a response. You can see a screenshot of the email sent below.
