SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has confirmed another radical anti-police activist has been promoted to a high ranking administrative position at a local middle school. According to sources, Regina Williams-Preston, a leader of BLM South Bend and vocal cop hater, has been promoted to Dean of School Culture at Navarre Middle School.
Williams-Preston held a news conference calling for the removal of police from South Bend schools earlier this years. She is also featured in photos on the BLM Facebook page during a canvassing event to pass out fliers calling for the removal of police from schools.

The BLM South Bend Facebook page has dozens of anti-police posts. Many calling law enforcement officers pigs and at least a dozen posts calling for police to be pulled from public schools.

Williams-Preston is also known to associate with actual violent gang members. Several pictures on social media show her and admitted member of the Latin King street gang, Eli Cantu. Cantu claims to have been working with Williams-Preston on several issues regarding schools and law enforcement. RNM published a story about Cantu’s gang affiliation and his prior work as a teacher at another South Bend middle school earlier this year. The Latin Kings are known to recruit middle school aged kids. The gang is also known for human sex trafficking of young women and girls and for selling and trafficking narcotics.

RNM reported earlier this week about another anti-cop activist being promoted at Navarre.
Valeria Chamorro was promoted to an assistant principal position at Navarre Middle School earlier this month. Her social media feed is full of anti-American and anti-police posts.
In June of 2020, Chamorro posted “ACAB” (the acronym for All Cops Are Bastards). The very next day, she posted the full “All Cops Are Bastards” saying to clear up any confusion.

Navarre Middle School is part of the South Bend Empowerment Zone, a special school district that was created in 2019 to help the struggling school and its four feeder elementary schools. It has its own independent board and is run independently of the South Bend Community School Corporation, but still falls under the umbrella of South Bend schools.
Earlier this year, the top administrator of the Empowerment Zone kicked a South Bend Police officer out of one of the elementary schools as he did a walk through the day after a school shooting threat. The entire incident was captured on police bodycam and can be seen here.
In June of this year, RNM also published a story about Navarre’s teacher of the year promoting racist CRT and revisionist anti-American history.
