SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has learned the South Bend Elks Lodge #235 has cancelled a drag show it had scheduled for next month. The cancellation comes after an RNM investigation uncovered at least one of the drag queens set to perform has historically done sexual drag performances in front of children.
While representatives from the Elks Lodge have not returned any of RNM’s calls, the online ticket sales system used to promote and sell tickets for the event shows it has been cancelled.

While the show was scheduled for folks who are 21-and-older, one of the drag queens who was scheduled to perform at the April 21st event is is a man who uses the stage name Brooklyn Burroughs. Burroughs recently performed for children at the Westfield Pride event in Hamilton County, Indiana, in which kids gave him and others cash tips as they danced provocatively in front of them. Burroughs has also taken to social media to defend drag shows for kids, as seen below.

Below is a photo gallery from the Westfield Pride event where Burroughs performed. It was held at a public park in Hamilton County in October of 2023. Several pictures and videos from the event show children tipping the drag queens as they dance sexually in front of them.

Regular Folks are Fed up, it seems. There’s a limit to how much in-your-face-ism we can take.
What kind of failure parents would take their kids to this garbage anyway? Nevermind, rhetorical question.
“Who at the Elks lodge actually thought this was a good idea” is probably a better question to ask.
