Congressman Yakym’s Chief of Staff worked to rig elections for Democrats with Jesse Jackson Jr. while member of socialist organization

WASHINGTON, D.C. — REAL News Michiana has uncovered Republican Congressman Rudy Yakym’s Chief of Staff has worked with at least one socialist organization to push for radical election reform, essentially rigging elections for Democrats across the country. Yakym hired Benjamin Falkowski to be his Chief of Staff last year. Falkowski’s history in politics includes research and activism with the socialist group known as The Roosevelt Institution, now The Roosevelt Institute. The goal of that organization; cultivate young “progressives” to work with both Democrat and Republican lawmakers to push a socialist agenda.

FALKOWSKI’S WORK ON ELECTION REFORM

Long before COVID was used to change election laws across the country, Falkowski had worked to make the changes we all saw during the 2020 election which arguably ensured a Joe Biden Presidential victory.

In 2008, Falkowski worked with Jesse Jackson Jr. and other far-left extremists to research and publish an article by The Roosevelt Institution titled 25 Ideas for Election Reform. The article, which was sent to lawmakers across the country, pushed for Relaxing Voter ID Requirements, Voter Registration in High Schools, Reducing Tuition Costs (Biden’s student loan forgiveness), Automated Voter Registration, Vote by Mail, Online Voting, Open Primaries, Electoral College Reform and Election Day Registration, among other things.

THE ROOSEVELT INSTITUTION

According to the 2008 article in which Falkowski contributed, “the Roosevelt Institution is a national network of nonpartisan student think tanks whose mission is to build a more progressive society. We seek to develop active, progressive citizens and leaders on college campuses through the research and writing of public policy and commentary, disseminating the products of that work to policymakers and elected officials on the local, state and national level… As our members enter their professional careers, they bring with them the progressive values they’ve developed, the skills they’ve learned, and the relationships they’ve built with one another.”

FALKOWSKI INFILTRATES THE REPUBLICAN PARTY

Only a couple of years after his documented involvement with The Roosevelt Institution (which has a goal of infiltrating the Republican Party), Falkowski sought out positions within the GOP. In 2013, he landed a gig as a legislative assistant in Washington D.C. with Indiana’s 2nd District Republican Congresswoman Jackie Walorski. Falkowski quickly moved his way up the ranks and became Walorski’s District Director in northern Indiana. By 2015, Falkowski became Walorski’s Chief of Staff. However, by 2019, Falkowski’s position had been terminated and began working for political fundraising firm.

In 2015, former St. Joseph County Republican Party Chair and current President of the Penn Harris Madison Board of School Trustees, Chris Riley, unsuccessfully attempted to recruit Falkowski to run for the County’s party chair position. Riley himself has aligned with Democrats while on the PHM School Board pushing for Critical Race Theory, DEI, SEL and the censorship of conservative stakeholders.

Congresswoman Jackie Walorksi passed away in a car crash last year and Yakym was caucused into her seat. One of his first acts was to bring Falkowski back into the fold as his Chief of Staff.

YAKYM DEFENDS SOCIALIST STAFFER

REAL News Michiana reached out to Yakym regarding Falkowski’s previous work and involvement with The Roosevelt Institution. Yakym quickly defended his Chief of Staff.

“For almost 12 years Ben Falkowski has served the people of IN-02 — including as Jackie Walorski’s district director and chief of staff, no one has ever questioned his conservative credentials.” Yakym told RNM. “If there were any questions with his credentials, why was he recruited to run for St. Joe GOP County Chair (by Democrat aligning Chris Riley) in 2015?”

  1. Rudy, If you don’t purge this individual from your staff the last time I voted for you will be the last time I voted for you. Get it? The fact that this is not cause for immediate termination speaks volumes about you.

  2. Well, Rep Yakym isn’t exactly a conservative, so why should we be surprised? Just look at the spending he has voted for. Including yesterday’s vote (12/13/23) for the defense bill. That uses tax monies for abortions and sex change operations.

  3. Trojan Horse. Fire him. Conservatives need to be swift and relentless in correcting their errors and those of liberals.

As Goldwater stated, “I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue! Equality, rightly understood, as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences.”

  4. Rudy, you’ve got some explaining to do! If you don’t respond to this, it will say a whole lot more than saying nothing!

  5. People can and do change. Actions speak louder than words. Trust but verify.
    Rudy is not a Conservative.
These statements are true, Rudy’s action’s will prove who he is and what he believes.
If you don’t like his actions, vote him out.

  6. Thanks for bringing our attention to Falkowski, Clifton…another “snake in the grass”. Rudy would do well to send him packin’…better to be safe than sorry…and being “recruited” by the St. Joe GOP Chair isn’t even close to a vetting process. How many holdover knuckleheads worked against Trump because he didn’t clear all the rats out when he first took office?
