Former AG Curtis Hill eyes Governor’s Seat

Former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill

MISHAWAKA, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has learned former Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill (R) is seriously considering a run at the Indiana Governor’s Office. Hill made the announcement to a large group of citizens at the St. Joseph County GOP meeting on June 10th.

“We need to have people who stand up and fight.” Hill said to the crowd. “I am considering running for Governor of Indiana.”

“I have talked to a lot of people who are fed up. I have come to realize there is a growing hunger for leaders who truly embody conservative values and not those who simply say they do.” Hill later told RNM in a written statement. “Hoosiers have had enough with the status quo politicians, be they in Indianapolis or Washington, D.C.”

“Teresa (Hills wife) and I have been thoughtfully praying for guidance and in the coming weeks, I will have more to say about my future in the service of the great State of Indiana.” Hill’s statement continued.

Prior to serving as Attorney General, Hill was a true hard-on-crime prosecutor in Elkhart County.

Hill would be joining a growing crowd of Republicans vying for the office. Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch, Senator Mike Braun and businessman Eric Doden are all currently running for the Republican nomination.
