INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indiana GOP Director of Diversity and Social Impact Strategist, Whitley Yates, took to social media to push for separate national anthems for different races of Americans. The Republican Party employee then defended her position, claiming there is one National Anthem and then another National Anthem that’s only for black people.
The overtly racist remarks were made on Twitter following the performance of Lift Every Voice during the Superbowl. Lift Every Voice is being coined by the left as "The black National Anthem" in an attempt to sow division between Americans of different races, claiming the real National Anthem does not actually represent black people. When, in fact, the Star Spangled Banner represents the entire country, regardless of race.
When Yates was called out for promoting the segregation of races in reference to the two songs, she doubled down. Yates appears to be completely ignorant of the country's motto, E pluribus unum -- Latin for "Out of many, one."
"When you celebrate Black Culture it divides us? So should we all be the same?" Yates wrote on Twitter, ignoring the fact that we are all Americans. "Correct there is only ONE NATIONAL ANTHEM - just like there is only on Black national anthem."
Yates then appears to have deleted her Twitter account.
Aside from pushing racist rhetoric, it doesn't appear Yates has done much to recruit diversity into the party. RNM reached out to the St. Joseph County GOP Chairman, Tyler Gillean, to see if he had been contacted by Yates regarding the historically diverse GOP ticket currently running in the 2023 South Bend municipal races.
"I have never been contacted by Yates regarding the ticket and I've never received assistance in trying to recruit more diverse candidates." Gillean said.
When questioned about her comments regarding the National Anthem, Gillean stated he had no comment.
This type of racism toward white people has been creeping its way into the Indiana GOP for years now. In 2021, RNM uncovered several racist social media posts made by Republican Governor Eric Holcomb's (R) appointed Chief Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Officer, Karrah Herring.
Herring's social media posts include calling "white folk" corporate criminals, bashing interracial relationships and calling parents and children of private schools racist.

Meet Whitley Yates. Evictions, expired plates etc. She must be a radical leftist masquerading as a Republican.
As I see it the Indiana GOP has two choices, defund (fire) Whitley Yates or I can keep my donations to the GOP and defund them. Which will it be Kyle Hupfer?
