Councilwoman Proposes Resolution Supporting Racism, Marxism, Porn for kids

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has obtained a resolution being submitted by South Bend Common Councilwoman, Lori Hamann, that lies about current legislation designed to protect kids. The resolution is scheduled to be submitted and voted on this Monday.

In the resolution, Hamann is condemning Indiana House Bill 1134, which limits children from being exposed to sexually explicit material, tackles tenets of Critical Race Theory being taught in public schools and offers more transparency for parents of school-aged children.

Hamann, who also teaches Government and Economics at Marian High School, appears to have not read the legislation as the majority of her resolution has nothing to do with HB 1134.

While the bill doesn’t state Critical Race Theory in the text, Hamann infers that it is tackling CRT when she starts the resolution off by lying about CRT not being taught in public schools. She then goes off on issues regarding higher education that aren’t even being addressed in the bill. She claims “systemic racism” is an issue that needs to be addressed while going on to suggest parents and lawmakers should have no say in the education of their children.

“Whereas, decisions about curriculum and subject matter should be made by educators who have expertise in the subject.” Part of the resolution states.

She then jumps into modern Marxist talking points.

“Whereas, having an awareness of existing systemic discrimination is necessary in order to solve the problem and build systems that are truly equitable.”

Hamann also gaslights supporters of the bill, by falsely claiming they’re indoctrinating children by not supporting Critical Race Theory indoctrination.

“Whereas, efforts to suppress factual teaching on race and racism, or to erase unpleasant facts about U.S. history is akin to ideological indoctrination.”

Finally, she loathes the fact that there would be more transparency for parents who wish to know what their children are being taught, before claiming, without evidence, that teachers are going to quit because of the legislation.

“…would require the highly competent and dedicated teachers in Indiana to be monitored and to have lesson plans and syllabi be reviewed and scrutinized by non-educators.” The resolution states. “House Bill 1134 would further drive teachers out of the classroom over concerns that their work would receive unjust judgement and also over the additional workload.”

  1. Whereas, South Bend Common Councilwoman, Lori Hamann, is a certified nitwit and pinhead and only her holiness and other educators know what’s best for the children, blah, blah, blah. As regards to blatant racism or lack of wokeness would anyone be surprised to know that Marian High School is really, really white? Someone please run against this idiot (I know, not fair to idiots) and get her tossed from the South Bend Common Council. I have a teacher’s certificate and a college degree therefore I am as wise as the Dalai Lama. Please.
