SOUTH BEND, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has confirmed a student was stabbed inside Adams High School early this morning. The South Bend Police Department confirms the child is being treated for the stab wounds and is expected to live. SBPD also tells us multiple people believed to be involved have been detained.
Adams High School is currently under lockdown while the crime scene is being processed, according to SBPD.
Sources tell RNM it appears the child was attacked by multiple students in a bathroom. RNM is working to confirm those details. RNM is also working to get the ages of all of the students involved.
This comes as administrators have recently notified parents of a reported threat at the school. The principal sent the following message to several parents earlier this week.
