SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Radical Notre Dame Professor and husband of a Penn Harris Madison middle school teacher who recently posted about ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards), is attacking REAL News Michiana for a recent story outlining his wife’s radical behavior at PHM’s Schmucker Middle School.
“A local, doughy ‘journalist’ has decided to try and destroy my wife’s career because she has political opinions., and has tweeted about them. Heaven forbid.” David Cortez, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Notre Dame, tweeted. “Must… resist… urge to tag his bitch ass here and make it a party.”
“Doughy,” as used in this context, is a racist, disparaging remark toward white people. Oxford defines it as (of a person) pale and rather fat. “a pasty, doughy, chubby white kid from the suburbs” — Miriam gives a definition of unhealthily pale : PASTY.
RNM has written two stories regarding David Cortez’ wife, Schmucker Middle School Science teacher, Danielle Cortez. The first was about a video she posted to TikTok (which can be seen below) in which she bragged about lying to parents if their kids came out as transgender in her classroom. The second was regarding her affinity for the term All Cops Are Bastards and how she bragged about that term shaping the way she teaches her classes. You can read all about those here.
According to David Cortez’ social media and personal webpage, he has been employed as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Notre Dame since 2018. You can read his official University of Notre Dame bio here.
David Cortez has also been in hot water for his social media posts in the past, specifically for calling white men the biggest terror threat in the country. Campus Reform, a national outlet, wrote a detailed story about his radical beliefs in a 2018 article titled, Notre Dame prof agrees with Don Lemon: White men are ‘biggest terror threat’. Below is just a preview of that story.
A professor at the University of Notre Dame tweeted that he agrees with CNN host Don Lemon’s statement that white men are the “biggest terror threat” to America.
“Lemon said that, ‘we have to stop demonizing people and realize that the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them,'” David Cortez tweeted Wednesday. “What’s the lie?”
Cortez has also frequently tweeted about his opposition to President Trump and the Republican Party.
“Happy Halloween!! The President of the United States is a white supremacist. He’s not the first we’ve had, but he can be the last. #vote,” he said on Halloween. And, on more than one occasion, Cortez has tweeted “#AbolishtheGOP.”
RNM reached out to Notre Dame’s media contact for comment. We are waiting for a response.
