
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — South Bend continues to see a wave of violent crime involving guns. According to South Bend Police Department incident logs, there were a total of 17 incidents involving guns from Friday evening through the early morning hours on Monday. The total number of individual victims from the crimes is 21.
In all, there were a total of 11 incidents involving Assault or Intimidation, 1 robbery, 2 “shots fired” calls, 1 vandalism (caused by a shooting) and 2 calls listed as “found property” where shell casings were discovered.
