SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The City of South Bend saw another weekend marred with gun violence. According to police logs, there were a total of 16 crimes involving guns.
Police records show a total of 3 aggravated assault with a firearm calls. There were multiple victims in all of those cases. One victim is listed as a 61-year-old woman. That shooting happened around 12:45am Monday in the 2200 block of Dorothy Street.
SBPD incident logs show police responded to 12 different shots fired calls from Friday evening through the early morning hours of Monday.
There was also one robbery with a firearm case.
