KENDALLVILLE, Ind. — REAL News Michiana has learned the Noble County Election Board ruled in favor of two conservative candidates for the East Noble School Board following challenges to their candidacies by two LGBTQ activists. The challenges were filed against school board candidates John Klassen and Joel Lash. The Election Board’s decision means the two men WILL appear on this fall’s general election ballot.
Both Lash and Klassen have been vocal about their disapproval of the sexualization of children in school. The challenges were filed by local LGBTQ Activists Lisa Daniel and Kimberly Murphy. Both challenges focused on minute paperwork details that were considered insufficient to have the candidates removed from the ballot.
Murphy is a Democrat activist and politician who unsuccessfully ran for Kendallville City Council in 2023. She consistently takes to social media to push LGBTQ ideologies, posting about her marches with the local Pride organizations. She has also been a vocal proponent of creating sexual LGBTQ clubs within the East Noble school district.

Daniel is the Director of Corporate Laboratory Operations for Parkview Health. She also frequently takes to social media to LGBTQ and radical gender ideologies.
