INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita took time to wish former President Donald Trump a happy birthday during the Indiana State GOP convention over the weekend. At his hospitality event on Friday night, Rokita revved up his crowd of supporters by having them sing Happy Birthday before serving the crowd slices of orange cake. Trump turned 78-years-old on June 14th.
The following day at the official GOP Convention, Rokita secured the GOP’s nomination for the Indiana Attorney General. The vote was more of a formality as Rokita ran for the position unopposed. However, outsider Micah Beckwith stunned the GOP establishment by winning the nomination for Lt. Governor over establishment pick Julie McGuire.
